This site shows my shiny new homemade CNC mill. This is pretty much work-in-progress. The mill and this website. So it turns out this site is just a random collection of stuff, currently...

A tiny Proxxon FF230 is used as the base machine. The Z joint is completely replaced by a simple CNC capable design.

The machine is controlled by opensource software, of course. See LinuxCNC.org for the great Linux based Enhanced Machine Controller software. The schematics for the electronics and firmware for the microcontrollers is also published in GIT repositories A and B. The stuff is not complete, yet.
